EINSTURZENDE NEUBAUTEN
"Theoretically seen Einstürzende Neubauten's agenda can be summed up as noise-therapy.
In actuality, however they always were and will be exceedingly complex. They are an allegedly
chaotic production collective creating music whose particular allure and beauty is in no
way obvious upon simple, first time listening. In this music the parameters of conventional
music have been entirely shifted. The scale of all aesthetic units involved apparently reach
up into infinity and are being constantly collectively redefined." -

F-SPACE
Scot Jenerik, Ethan Port (Savage Republic), Aleph Kali (Chrome) and Matt Callahan (M.C.
Christ/KFJC). Camped in the vicinity of Einsturzende Neubauten, Acid Mother's Temple,
Throbbing Gristle, Swans, and Glenn Branca, the result conjures an apocalyptic, feral,
destructive trance state implying a catastrophic act of nature, a march through the desert
on the path to war, or an offender's mental state during a crime of passion.

JOSH HADEN
"Haden [...] is a master of pristine, half-spoken/half-sung lines that sound like heartfelt come-ons,
stripping down melodies to their bare essence and revealing to listeners the most basic
elements of a great love song." - Mark Sanders, Sponic Zine

LEGENDARY PINK DOTS
The Legendary Pink Dots music touches on elements of neo-psychedelia, ambient music,
electronic music, tape music, industrial, psych folk, synth-pop and goth rock,
with a distinctly experimental/avant-garde bent; their sound has evolved over time and
remains distinctive, making it difficult to place the group into a concise style or genre.

LOVE AND
LOUD COLOURS
An authorized lyric collection by Edward Ka-Spel, prolific vocal wizard of the Legendary
Pink Dots and The Tear Garden. This illustrated book presents song lyrics selected from more
than forty albums of Edward's musical ventures - from 1980 to 2002.
In addition, the book comes with a CD-single featuring an exclusive four-part Ka-Spel
creation, "090301," itself illustrated with an original work by New York artist Pieter Schoolwerth.

MAGIC BOX WHOJABA
Anchored by percussionist maxwellvision, the drumming of magicbox whojaba is wide and deep,
having a heartbeat within a heartbeat. Primal explorations drift into jazz, creating trance like
grooves. The etheric structure built upon that foundation is created by Glen Lynskey. Using
the electric guitar and exotic tunings, Lynskey weaves melody and atmoshere into the
hypnotic rythyms of maxwell.
Master performance painter Norton Wisdom is the centerpiece to this trio.
The voice of this group is expressed thru the imagery of Wisdoms subconcious world.

NIELS VAN HOORN
Niels Van Hoorn is a long time member of the English / Dutch cult group The Legendary
Pink Dots. Legions of adoring fans virtually assure a sellout crowd for the band's many
many gigs around the world. Their unusual mixture of electronic psychedelic whimsy and
Alice In Wonderland playful, lush textural madness have kept them constantly on the top
of the underground cult musical scene.
But Niels always also coloured outside the dotted line, with his first solo album
('Colours') released by Soleilmoon USA in autumn 2002 as an important milestone. Over the
years he has also collaborated with varying acts like drum & bass outfit Voltage to
renowned experimentalist Mark Spybey's (Psychic TV, Zoviet France) Dead Voices On Air up
to Can's Damo Suzuki, Cevin Key's (Skinny Puppy) The Teargarden, Lydia Lunch, The Anubian
Lights).

PROJECT-A
Project A stands for ''blowing your brains out'' alternative hardrock mixed with a little touch of funk.
It's hard to summarize the genre and sound of Project A in a one-liner. Their music
is energetic, raw and played like Jimi Hendrix on crack. Those are typical characteristical
elements of their live performances.

RE/SEARCH PUBLICATIONS
RE/Search grew out of Search & Destroy, which Jello Biafra, Dead Kennedys founder,
called "the best punk rock publication, ever. It combined art and photography with in-depth
interviews and articles." Every RE/Search book continues the Punk Rock Cultural Revolution,
but strives to provide permanent inspiration to artists/cultural scientists of the future,
providing careful editing, reference sections, photos, art and anthropological history.
Our books are printed in tiny quantities, are uncompromising in content (unlike books
from a corporate publisher) - each one is a rare, limited edition work of art.

Psychic TV, and Boyd Rice on recordings as well as singing or playing guitar for live appearances.

The Pop Group, Joy Division, Throbbing Gristle, Cabaret Voltaire, The Ventures and Flipper.

have been compared to contemporaries such as Einsturzende Neubauten, Sonic Youth and

SCOT NERY
Pancake juggler. Really. And one of the most inventive and funny comedians around.

SPAIN
Spain are an American rock band, led by Josh Haden. Their song "Spiritual" was covered
by Johnny Cash on his 1996 Unchained album, and by Soulsavers on their 2007 release It's Not
How Far You Fall, It's the Way You Land. A retrospective album, Spirituals: The Best Of Spain,
was released in 2003.
In 2007, Haden reformed the band with new members Tom Gladders (guitar), Randy Kirk
(keyboards, guitar), and Matt Mahal (drums). To commemorate Spain's first shows in over six
years, the band performed The Blue Moods Of Spain live in its entirety at the 2007 Tanned
Tin festival in Castellón, Spain.

STRANGE ATTRACTOR
Strange Attractor's jazzy 'popscapes' are on the cutting edge of contemporary production.
With Richard (Phallus Dei) on drums, synths, and electronics and Niels Van Hoorn (Legendary
Pink Dots) on saxes, bass clarinet, flute, and windsynth, Strange Attractor is known to
create an intense atmosphere of rich melodies. Together with the vocals of
Marie-Claudine (Sonar Lodge), the band simply dissolves the audience into their universe.

|
VANDEVEN BAND
The VandeVen Band plays authentic rhythm 'n blues in the New Orleans style of artists
like Dr. John, Fats Domino, and The Meters. Adding rock and funk to the mix, they make
an exciting and original sound in a style that's all their own. VandeVen's frontman is
singer/pianist Clemens van de Ven. Famous in Holland for his charismatic stage-performances
and raw vocal sound, Clemens is joined on guitar by Harry Hardholt, one of the true icons of
Dutch rock-music. Arend Bouwmeester will not only wow you with his saxophone playing, but
he also joins our lively and energetic drummer, Sin Banovic, on percussion.
